This Summer’s Best Food Festivals
If you love trying out new taste experiences, then you’ll be excited to hear there’s a summer full of food festivals taking place in the UK again this year and we’ve got the luxury minibus hire to get you, your family and friends to any one of these events. For starters, try this list from Wales Online of their best picks across the country.
First up is the Malton Food Lover’s Festival, taking place in Yorkshire across the weekend of the 26th and 27th May. Headlining the event is Michelin star restaurant The Black Swan with head chef Tommy Banks, as seen on the Greta British Menu and a local to the area, giving live cooking demonstrations. The event goes on late into the evening and of course there will be plenty of local food offerings with live music and a festival-themed bar.
Jam on the Rye is a new food festival launching this year and will see reggae artists and some of London’s best MCs perform alongside some great eclectic street food traders. This is definitely not one to miss and will be taking place on May 28th at Peckham Rye.
On June 2nd and 3rd, Brighton will host Vegan Summer Fest, with over 100 food stalls made up of nothing but delicious plant-based foods. It’s a great event for all the family, with activities for children and a selection of bars and live music.
Also look out for Jimmy’s Festival, coming to Ipswich on the 21st and 22nd July. Founded by TV presenter and farmer Jimmy Doherty, there will be cookery demonstrations from vegan YouTube sensations BOSH! as well as grilling pro DJ BBQ.
