January is traditionally the time of year when we book the most holidays, as the short days and gloomy weather turns our thoughts to the sunnier seasons and fun trips out. This year is expected to be busier than ever, as there are almost no travel restrictions in place in the UK and beyond for the first time in three years.

Paris

Many of us have limited our holiday destinations to the UK for the past few years, and we may be out of the habit of making lengthy trips abroad. However, Paris is the perfect destination if you want a taste of fresh culture without the long haul travel. Lake Garda in northern Italy is celebrated for its beautiful panoramic views, Roman remains, and mild climate. It is the perfect place for outdoor activities, with a wealth of walks, water sports, rock climbing and horseback riding opportunities, to name a few. It’s also a great choice for connoisseurs of good food and wine, with an abundance of local produce.

London weekender
