Head To The Winchester Hat Fair This Summer

Taking place since 1974, this outdoor theatre, music and dance festival has been growing for a number of years and is now the longest running in the UK. Starting out as a busker’s festival, this is now an all-singing, all-dancing city-wide celebration of street performance, from the traditional to the Avant Gard.

The festival takes place from 30 June – 2 July and a significant chunk of the line-up has already been revealed. It takes place across the medieval city, in a wide range of locations. You can see air acrobatics in the cathedral grounds, or head to a family picnic on the Sunday in Oram’s Arbour to see 20 different performances throughout the day.
