February

Guinness Six Nations Rugby Championship, 2nd Feb – 16th March

The Six Nations plays out some of the oldest sporting rivalries between England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland and Wales. The men’s rugby event has been running since 1883 and takes place at various locations around the UK, Ireland, and France. These include Twickenham, London, Murrayfield, Edinburgh, and Cardiff Stadium.

Premier League Darts, February-May

The Premier League Darts events kick off in February for an annual tour of venues around the UK, culminating in the play-offs in London at the O2 Arena on Thursday May 23.  The event runs through February, March, April, and May.

Tournaments will take place in Glasgow, Newcastle, Exeter, Brighton, Nottingham, Dublin, Belfast, Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield and Aberdeen. There’s also a couple of tournaments further afield in Berlin and Rotterdam.

April

The Grand National, Aintree, 11-13th April 2024

The world-famous steeplechase is a part of Britain’s cultural fabric, and is a place to see and be seen socially as well as to experience the excitement of live horse racing. Ladies Day is especially popular, when the girls go all-out to out glam each other in the style stakes and win the top prize. It’s all in the spirit of good fun and never fails to be a great day out.

May

FA Cup Final, Wembley Stadium, 25 May 2024

The FA Cup Final is one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious sporting events, having first taken place in 1872. There’s always a unique and special atmosphere at Wembley, whether you are a dedicated follower of one of the competing teams, or just love to watch the beautiful game played at its very best.

June

Royal Ascot, June 18-22nd, 2024

Royal Ascot was founded by Queen Anne in 1711, a keen horsewoman who decided that Ascot was the ideal place to gallop her horses. This love of horses has continued down the royal lineage, and of course the late Queen Elizabeth II was closely associated with the special weekend in June.

It’s one of the most prestigious events on the British sporting calendar with an international guest list. There’s a variety of ticket options available, plus special party packages at a reduced bundle price.

July

Wimbledon Championships, 1st- 14th June 2024

It would not be right to omit the highlight of the year for tennis fans, as the Grand Slam event takes place at the All England Lawn Tennis Club. As well as riveting live action and the chance to rub shoulders with famous names in the crowd, there are the great British traditions to enjoy, such as strawberries and cream with a refreshing glass of Pimms or two.
