Pub Beer Festivals To Look Out For In Birmingham

Matt Crisp April 6, 2018

If you love sampling new ales and brews, you’re probably no stranger to beer festivals. There are always events happening around the country, but there are some particularly good ones coming up in and around Birmingham in the next few months.

Birmingham Live picked out a few to consider attending. If you want to make it a social occasion and you don’t live within easy walking distance of the pubs in question, you could arrange luxury minibus hire in Birmingham to get you safely to and from the venue.

The Inn On The Green is set to host its next beer festival between 12 and 14 April. This pub has won the accolade of Birmingham Pub of the Year three times in a row, including in 2017.

It hosts four beer and cider festivals each year, when you can sample a good selection of both beverages. According to the Solihul and District CAMRA, there will be 20 ales and five ciders on offer during the weekend.

Looking ahead to the summer, the Robin Hood will be hosting its beer festival from 19 to 22 July. Given that this pub usually has nine ales and three ciders on hand pulls on offer behind its bar, you can expect a good selection come the summer.

The Court House in Dudley, meanwhile, is set to host its next beer festival from 5 to 8 April. This pub has an excellent reputation for its real ales, making it a firm favourite at any time of the year, but you can expect it to be busy for this event.
