Mary Berry, Jo Whiley And Nick Knowles To Host Chelsea Flower Show 2018
It’s one of the highlights of the spring, and Chelsea Flower Show is back this month with a star-studded line-up and the very good chance of a visit from Her Majesty the Queen.
The Daily Express reported that this year’s event will take place at its historic home of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, where it has been hosted every year since 1913 apart from two hiatuses during both the First and Second World Wars.
Running from May 22nd to 26th, the event is one of the hottest horticultural dates in the diary for gardeners and nature-lovers, so with just a few weeks to go, the time is definitely right make sure everybody has a seat when you book your coach hire to London.
In addition to the cutting-edge landscaping and gardening exhibitions available for visitors to explore and investigate at their leisure, there is a host of celebrity guests and presenters including queen of the kitchen Mary Berry, BBC Radio 2 DJ Jo Whiley and everybody’s favourite home improvement personality Nick Knowles.
And if you are hoping to catch a glimpse of the monarch, Queen Elizabeth II has only missed the Chelsea Flower Show twice since her coronation and is hotly anticipated to be in attendance again this year.
Taking a modern approach, the 2018 edition of the show will have special exhibitions including ‘Gardens to enhance wellbeing’ and ‘Space to grow gardens’ aimed specifically at those living in apartments or other dwellings that do not have much outdoor space, if any at all.
There is something for everybody, with plenty entertainment for everybody from young children, to seniors, with tickets starting at £42.
