The World’s Best Beaches Finally Revealed!
It certainly feels as though the winter is done and dusted with us, which no doubt means that there are countless of you out there now thinking about where you’d like to go for your summer holidays this year. And if it’s a beach trip you’re after, then you’re certainly in luck, as Trip Advisor has just published its rundown of the very best sandy stretches to be found around the world… and it could prove to be just the inspiration you’ve been looking for all this time.
If you want to stay local and have a bit of a staycation this year, perhaps think about making your way down south to Dorset, where you’ll find Bournemouth Beach in, yes you’ve guessed it, Bournemouth! This took the top spot in the list for the UK, followed by Luskentyre on the Isle of Harris in Scotland.
And then there’s St Brelade’s Bay Beach in Jersey, Woolacombe Beach in Devon, Barafundle Beach in Wales, Filey Beach in Yorkshire, Rhossili Bay in Wales, Gorleston Beach in Norfolk, Perranporth Beach in Cornwall and Newborough Beach in Anglesey… as you can see, you’re certainly spoiled for choice!
Those of you who’d prefer to go further afield, Baia do Sancho in Brazil took the top spot for the international list of the best beaches to visit, followed by Varadero Beach in Cuba, Eagle Beach in Aruba, La Concha Beach in Spain and Grace Bay in Turks and Caicos.
And as for Europe, you could do worse than visit La Concha Beach in San Sebastian which took the top spot, closely followed by Spiaggia dei Conigli in Italy, Falesia Beach in Portugal, Playa de Ses Illetes in Spain and Balos Beach and Lagoon in Crete.
Before planning a trip, however, it would be worth checking how the impending threat of Brexit could potentially affect your getaway. Recent research from watchdog Which? Found that hours of delays could be faced at some of the most popular holiday destinations in Europe because of additional entry checks at airports in the EU if we leave without a deal in place.
So bear this in mind when heading off anywhere and always make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to get to the airport and back. If you want to take the stress out of the journey, consider booking luxury coach hire to get you from A to B so that you can travel in style and won’t have to worry about anything, able to enjoy the perfect start to your holiday.
