Have You Thought About Festival Travel?
The summer is definitely here and with Glastonbury coming to a close for this year at the weekend, festival season is undeniably in full swing.
If you’ve been lucky enough to score tickets to any of the big events happening around the UK this summer, you might be more concerned about how you’re going to navigate your way from one stage to the next than how you’re getting to the festival in the first place.
But given that the largest music festivals see tens, if not hundreds, of thousands of revellers descending on one space, considering your festival travel well in advance is a good idea.
One of the big festivals still to come is Leeds Festival, happening over the August bank holiday weekend, where the likes of Eminem, Muse, Kasabian, Bastille and Korn will be taking to the stage. If there’s a group of you going, organising coach hire in Leeds could be one option.
The festival’s organisers want to minimise the number of cars onsite, so they’ve even set up a lift sharing site where you can try to fill up any empty seats you may have in your vehicle, whether you’re driving yourself or have paid for coach hire.
Of course, there are plenty of other festivals coming up – and you may want to hire a coach to get you to and from any of them. Wireless Festival hits London from 7 to 9 July, Creamfields will be hosted in Daresbury between 24 and 27 August, and Bestival is set to be hosted at Dorset’s Lulworth Castle from 7 to 10 September.
