Will You Join The Fun At The Midlands Whisky Festival?

Whisky is one of those drinks that has so many variations it’s hard to know where to begin with the spirit – and as any connoisseur will tell you, there are a lot of subtleties to this tipple.

If you’re keen to learn more about whisky production, its flavours and how to correctly pair your whisky with cigars, Birmingham is the place to visit in March.

On 16 and 17 March the city will play host to the Midlands Whisky Festival, which is the largest event of its kind outside of London.

As a ticket includes samples of whisky, you don’t want to drive to the venue to ensure you can enjoy every element of the festival. If there are a group of you planning to attend, arrange coach hire in Birmingham to get you safely to and from The Town Hall in Stourbridge.

Organisers of the festival have also lined up some of the top names in whisky to lead masterclasses, which you’re welcome to attend as part of your ticket. You will also receive one ‘dream dram’ token on arrival, which will allow you to sample one of a number of exclusive and expensive whiskies.

According to the festival, some of the bottles included in the dream dram list can sell for upwards of £1,000, so this is an opportunity to sample some of the world’s best whisky at a very affordable price. If there’s more than one tipple you’d like to try, you can purchase additional tokens at the event for £5 each.
