Have A Wizard Time At Colwick Hall This Halloween!
If you’re something of a serious Harry Potter fan and have plans to dress up as your favourite characters for Halloween this year, why don’t you really push the boat out and book minibus hire from Leeds to Nottingham?
Making your way to Colwick Hall in time for Fright Night could well be the best thing you ever do! For just £42, you’ll get to enjoy a three-course meal, a potions class, drinks when you arrive, house games and a disco to round the night off. What on earth could be better than that?
Chocolate wands are also available for you to cast a few spells with (although you might want to bring your own as well, since you’ll probably munch your way through these before the night is out).
As for the food, you certainly won’t be going hungry! To start, you can choose between hocus pocus oxtail soup and a parmesan bat crouton, witch fingers (grilled asparagus and prosciutto!) and eyeball caprese (mozzarella balls with tomatoes).
And for your main, there’s the likes of rum of beef goulash, pumpkin spinach and parmesan cannelloni, and loin of cod with grilled prawns and a bloody Mary sauce. For pudding, there’s pomegranate and sloe gin cheesecake, dark chocolate torte and apple and blackberry pie with toffee ice cream.
And Colwick Hall itself is certainly worth a visit if you’ve got time to spare to look around. It’s a Georgian country house mansion in more than 60 acres of stunning parkland – once the ancestral home of Lord Byron!
