Head To The Lord Mayor’s Show

Matt Crisp November 1, 2017

Get the best coach hire London has to offer in order to get thee best view possible of the Lord Mayor’s Show and fireworks.

The show takes place on November 11 this year and starts with a flotilla at 9am, the procession at 11am and fireworks at 5.15.

The flotilla is perfect for people who want to see the famous Cinderella-style coach the Lord Mayor arrives at the show on. This coach normally lives in the Museum of London, displayed to the public for the rest of the year. Attending the flotilla is the only option you get each year to see it used and in action.

The procession will be made up of local groups, with a link to the city of London.

The fireworks are the real treat however, and provides one of the biggest free fireworks events in the capital.

The fireworks are let off from a raft in the middle of the Thames between Waterloo and Blackfriars bridge. You can see the fireworks for miles around but will get the best views from up close.

This event is difficult to get to by car or public transport. Travelling by car is difficult as the roads around the event close and parking is very difficult. Public transport is likely to be very overcrowded at all nearby stations and stops.

Therefore, you should seriously consider getting a coach to take you and your friends to the event, drop you off at the beginning and pick you up at the end.
