Matt Crisp February 21, 2017

If you’re looking for a vibrant city break in the UK, Leeds is an excellent choice. With a packed programme of events all year round, there’s never a bad time to go, but this spring there are a few stand-out events that you won’t want to miss.

Take all the stress out of your visit by arranging luxury mini bus hire in Leeds to take you from A to B and ensure you get home safely at the end of your trip.

Harewood House Victoria Exhibition

Opening on 24 March 2017, this exhibition at the iconic Harewood House showcases outfits worn by the cast in the drama series Victoria, which, of course, focuses on the former queen.

Harewood House was used as one of the locations for filming, and you can see several of the sets included in the series. As well as the exhibition of costumes, there will also be installations to give you a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of the series.

Northern Ballet’s Casanova

Between 11 and 18 March 2017, the acclaimed Northern Ballet will perform the world premiere of its newest show, Casanova, at the Leeds Grand Theatre.

The story is sensational, the dancing breathtaking and the whole experience will immerse you in the scandalous world of Casanova himself.

Leeds Indie Food Fest

From 11 to 18 May 2017, Leeds will become a beacon for independent food outlets and producers, with the UK’s biggest celebration of independent food and drink culture arriving in the city’s streets.

As well as a range of special events, many local, independent businesses will be joining in by offering discounts to those who invest in a festival passport. It promises to be a treat for all your senses!
